In Maine, a grateful Husky showered a firefighter with kisses after being rescued from a rooftop predicament. After managing to climb out of an upstairs window, the dog found himself stranded on the roof, unsure of how to return indoors. Local authorities got numerous calls about this adventurous pup’s dilemma.
Captain Jeff Nawfel of the Wells Fire Department came to the dog’s aid. Instead of immediately trying to escape his rooftop confinement, the dog, named Jasper, seemed more eager to bond with his rescuer. A video of the heartwarming rescue showcased Jasper’s affectionate gratitude towards Captain Nawfel.
On Facebook, Erin Fenderson shared, “That’s actually my friend’s dog, Jasper. And believe it or not, this isn’t his first rooftop adventure! He’s just an outdoorsy pup. They probably left the window open by mistake. Huge thanks for bringing him back safely!”
After a bit of coaxing, Nawfel managed to get Jasper back inside. And it’s safe to bet that Jasper showed his gratitude with even more affection once they were indoors.
