After being found 310 miles away, a missing dog has been reunited with its owner.

Pandit, a one-year-old Malinois Shepherd, disappeared from his home in Soudour, France, last June. Fred, his owner, was devastated and spent months searching for his beloved canine companion. Unfortunately, his efforts yielded no results for several months. However, eight months later, a kind stranger found the dog by the side of the road.

The poor dog had been stolen when he was only four months old. He was found without a collar, but fortunately, he had a microchip, which enabled him to be reunited with his owner.

The reunion was carefully arranged, and both Fred and Pandit were overjoyed to be together again!

Thanks to the remarkable efforts of a shelter, a kind-hearted Samaritan, and the microchip, Fred and Pandit can now enjoy their lives together. Upon hearing the good news, Fred quickly drove to pick up Pandit.

Fred expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am incredibly thankful to everyone involved in his recovery, and I can’t emphasize enough the importance of microchipping your pets. Bringing Pandit home is a miracle that wouldn’t have happened without that chip. His return home was one of the best days of my life.”

Watch the heartwarming video of their reunion below. Fred posted it, saying that after such a long journey, he is overjoyed to have his beloved dog back.
