A few months ago, Lisianne was enjoying a sunny day in her backyard in Québec, Canada when something caught her eyes. She got closer to the bushes and realized there was a fluffy cat starring at her. The woman soon learned, the cat was actually hungry, so she rushed to bring her something to eat and some water.
Next day, the black cat was still wondering Lisianne’s yard, so the kind woman realized her tiny visitor is actually a stray. Since that moment, she had always left water and food on her porch for the fluffy ball. She even named her visitor Usagi and as the time was passing the two started to befriend.
“This lady with a big heart for this cause was watching her, she put food and water in order to help her,” Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a local rescue group wrote on Facebook. “With this routine, the lady gained confidence and the kitty started getting close.”
However, at some point Lisianne realized Usagi’s belly was getting bigger and it wasn’t due to the food. From that point, the softhearted woman was even more caring with adorable cat. “The kitty gave birth outside, but she came back every day to eat,” the rescue group wrote.
One morning, Lisianne couldn’t believed her eyes when spotted Usagi and six of her mini-me versions invaded her porch. The mother cat decided it is the time for her little babies to meet the woman who was so kind to her all this time. The adorable kittens were nearly 6-week-old and even they looked in a good shape it obviously they needed help.
“She brought her six babies back and she set up her nest at the lady’s house,” the post reads. “Their good fairy decided to help this little family and they secured them home in a room. The mom and her six babies were finally safe.”
Lisianne immediately took them all inside her home and then called the rescue group Chatons Orphelins Montréal and asked for help. Of course, the volunteers there were more than happy to provide it and to take care of these cute little kittens.
“The babies were reserved, they needed socialization,” the rescue group said. “They started trusting and coming out of their shell. The little ones love having fun together.”
Given their background, Lisianne decided to offer Usagi a forever home and all the love she needs. A friend of her also adopted one of the kittens, while the rest of them are waiting for loving families, too. “The five babies are the same, they were all tufts of black hair,” Chatons Orphelins Montréal said. “There were three females, Taylor, Tynie and Tyana, along with two males, Tales and Tito.”
