Most of us are used to thinking about animals as being our pets. Sure, certain animals can offer us amazing companionship, and we can return the favor by offering them a roof over their head, love, and all the care they need to lead a happy life.
But to think that we own animals would be a mistake, especially when it comes to wild animals. Still, there are certain people out there who think it is okay to exploit animals and deny their right to freedom to make a quick buck. Against all rules and regulations, many wild animals are kept in small, dirty cages for the purpose of being exploited.
Whether we’re talking about the circus, private zoos, or animals that can be booked for events, what lies underneath it all can be reduced to one word: exploitation
The bear in the video below named Tuffy was rescued after years of living in a bear bile farm. For all of you who don’t know about this harsh reality, bile bears are bears kept in captivity to harvest their bile, a digestive fluid produced by the liver and stored in the gallbladder, which is used by some traditional Chinese medicine practitioners.
This video shows the joy Tuffy experienced when he jumped in his pool at an animal sanctuary..
